After fifteen years as a small farm struggling to support a big idea – the restoration of authentic plant medicine to North America – High Falls Gardens has reached a new level of development.  We invite you to join us, in our own special niche of the Great Work.

A new, independent nonprofit organization has been created to carry on our mission of education, research and conservation of medicinal plants.  The HIGH FALLS FOUNDATION INC. was incorporated in late 2008.  Thanks and praise to the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, which incubated this entity as the High Falls Gardens Fund since 2000, now successfully fledged. Your tax-deductible donation helps a lot!

High Falls Gardens will continue as a farm, and participates in a national network of other small ecological farms in advancing the cultivation of medicinal plants.  We have licensed our intellectual property including this website to the Foundation. The farm has no separate website at present, but operates LocalHerbs.org in cooperation with Chinese Medicinal Herb Farm.
